Woodgrove extends home winning streak to three

Recap: Woodgrove Wolverines vs. Lightridge Bolts
Even though the Lightridge Bolts scored an imposing 57 points on Monday, the Woodgrove Wolverines still came out on top. Woodgrove skirted past Lightridge 60-57. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Woodgrove also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Among those leading the charge was Joey Marceschi, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dane Marsh, who scored 11 points.
Woodgrove's victory was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for Lightridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Woodgrove will head out on the road to face off against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lightridge will be home for the holidays to greet John Champe at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
