While Apollo put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Daviess County. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Panthers. The Eagles have beaten the Panthers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Ross Milburn was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gunnar Hendricks, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jackson Carder, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Apollo's record now sits at 7-3. As for Daviess County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
