Basketball Recap: Burlington Drops Season-High Score on Ringwood

Burlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ringwood Red Devils. One positive for the Elks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Ringwood, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.

Burlington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 34-29 win against Deer Creek-Lamont on the 25th. As for Ringwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-34 loss against Timberlake on the 25th.
