Baseball Game Preview: Sullivan Eagles vs. Pacific Indians

The Sullivan Eagles will head out to challenge the Pacific Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Sullivan made easy work of Cuba and carried off an 8-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Pacific made easy work of DeSoto on Tuesday and carried off a 9-2 victory.

Bennett Parker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Colton Kossuth was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season. Trey Kulick was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The win got Sullivan back to even at 10-10. As for Pacific, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
