Football Recap: Bunkie Wins Going Away Against St. Louis Catholic

Bunkie won the last time they faced St. Louis Catholic and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers took down the Saints 32-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Despite the defeat, St. Louis Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Fischer Willis picked up 55 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 90 yards.

Bunkie's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Louis Catholic, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Bunkie is taking a road trip to square off against Avoyelles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Louis Catholic, they will take on Orangefield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
