Glens Falls has gone 7-2 against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Black Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ravens at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk will be up against a hot Glens Falls squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Black Bears breezed past Scotia-Glenville to the tune of 48-7 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Black Bears' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Tartans are ranked 432nd).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Green Tech 58-8. The Ravens have beaten the Eagles the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Glens Falls better keep an eye on Mason Carkner. He was instrumental in Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk's win, rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 137 yards and three TDs. That's the most passing touchdowns Carkner has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lee Kittle, who rushed for 58 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.

Glens Falls' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Glens Falls didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win.
