Softball Recap: O'Fallon Takes a Loss

O'Fallon fell victim to Centralia and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 18-0 to the Orphans. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Orphans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for O'Fallon and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Centralia, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

O'Fallon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-5 defeat against Edwardsville on the 22nd. As for Centralia, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Carbondale on the 22nd.
