Baseball Recap: Alisal Has No Trouble Against Greenfield

Alisal never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Greenfield Bruins 10-0. Considering the Trojans have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Alisal and bumps their season record up to 12-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Greenfield, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alisal is set to square off against their familiar foe North Monterey County at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Trojans 2.9, the Condors 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Greenfield will challenge rival Pacific Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
