Lake Placid had won five straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 8-2 to make it six. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Chazy Eagles a 9-0 shutout. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by nine runs or more this season.
Jonathan Caito was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, William Landriault was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

On Chazy's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Novak Jarus, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Jarus has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
Lake Placid has already played their next contest, an 8-6 loss against Ticonderoga on the 15th. Chazy has also already played their next game (against Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
