Gibbs has gone a perfect 5-0 against Gatlinburg-Pittman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. Gibbs is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Gibbs came up short against Alcoa and fell 5-2.

Meanwhile, Gatlinburg-Pittman got themselves on the board against Happy Valley on Thursday, but Happy Valley never followed suit. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders.

Gatlinburg-Pittman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Reece, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Gibbs' loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Everything went Gibbs' way against Gatlinburg-Pittman when the teams last played back in April of 2021, as Gibbs made off with a 15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
