Tupelo won the last time they faced Pontotoc and things went their way on Thursday too. The Golden Wave walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for Tupelo.

AC Fears and Bryan Lira scored all three of Tupelo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Tupelo's win bumped their record up to 14-5-4. As for Pontotoc, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.
