A well-balanced attack led Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton over Sharon Springs Central in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. The Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Raiders walked away with a 59-46 victory over the Sharon Springs Central Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton to victory were Payton Behnke and Noah Pain. Behnke posted 11 points and five steals, while Pain scored 16 points along with seven assists and three steals. Behnke is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Darren Ruiz, who earned 11 points and six rebounds.

Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton's record now sits at 5-9. As for Sharon Springs Central, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
