Soccer Game Preview: Englewood vs. St. Augustine + Official Tickets

The Englewood Rams will venture away from home to face off against the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Englewood's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Englewood lost 4-1 to Beachside on Thursday.

The Rams' goal came courtesy of Christopher Oliva-Pineda, which was the first he's scored this season.

While St. Augustine didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-13-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Seabreeze on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's two games straight that St. Augustine have won by exactly three goals.

The win (which was St. Augustine's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Englewood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Everything went Englewood's way against St. Augustine when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Englewood made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
