Soccer Recap: Mira Monte Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Mira Monte was not quite Ridgeview's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Ridgeview Wolf Pack. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Wolf Pack are ranked ninth).

Mira Monte's loss dropped their record down to 7-2-1. As for Ridgeview, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mira Monte duke it out with the Delano at 10:00 a.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Ridgeview, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Buchanan at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
