Recap: Cherry Creek Bruins vs. Windsor Wizards

The Cherry Creek Bruins had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Windsor as Cherry Creek made off with a 62-42 victory. Considering Cherry Creek has won three matchups by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cherry Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but A'neya Chambers led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Chambers also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Addy Beck was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals.

Despite the loss, Windsor still got an impressive performance from Reyleigh Hess, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.

Cherry Creek's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Windsor, they have fallen quite a ways from their 20-8 record last season and are now at 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cherry Creek will be home for the holidays to greet Monarch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Windsor will take on Fossil Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Fossil Ridge is ranked 78th, while Windsor is ranked 91st).
