Football Recap: El Capitan Beats Kimball for Their Third Straight Victory

13 must be El Capitan's lucky number: they beat Kimball with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Gauchos beat the Jaguars by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-6. The Gauchos' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Aaliyah Simonian had an outrageously good game as she rushed for 78 yards and one score on only five carries, and also threw for 93 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of her passes.

El Capitan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Madysen Dietz. Evelynn Baeza was another major factor on D, picking up six sacks and making six total tackles.

El Capitan's record is now 3-0. As for Kimball, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

El Capitan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-0 win against Orestimba on the 25th. As for Kimball, they have also already played their next contest, a 45-0 victory against Downey on the 25th.
