Basketball Game Preview: Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders vs. North Central Thunder

Sunshine Bible Academy is 1-7 against North Central since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the North Central Thunder at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Sunshine Bible Academy didn't have too much trouble with Colome as they won 34-16. That looming 34-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Crusaders yet this season.

Sunshine Bible Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Hinman out in front who almost dropped a triple-double with ten points, 14 boards, and nine steals. Hinman has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 28 times she's played. Ciera Mickelson was another key player, putting up six points along with eight rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, North Central waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 33-29 W against the Titans.

North Central pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, their record is now 4-13.

Sunshine Bible Academy lost to North Central on the road by a decisive 45-29 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Sunshine Bible Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
