Basketball Recap: Fayette's Win Ends 15-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Fayette had lost 13 straight headed into Friday's contest, but Kaleb Friebe didn't let it get to 14. The Fayette Falcons secured a 50-46 W over the Linn Wildcats on Friday thanks in part to Friebe, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Colten Cross was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and ten boards. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.

When it comes to explaining why Linn lost, don't look at Gus Peters. Despite the final result, he went 9 for 18 on his way to 22 points and three steals. Those 22 points gave Peters a new career-high.
