Softball Recap: Silas Takes a Loss

Silas lost against River Ridge back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams fell 10-7 to the Hawks. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silas saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Medalia, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another was Tatum Butterfield, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Silas' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for River Ridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Silas will challenge Bellarmine Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for River Ridge, they will take on Timberline at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blazers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
