Football Recap: Capital Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Butte Bulldogs on the road by a 17-0 margin. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Max Christensen threw for 38 yards on five of 11 attempts. Carson Toivonen was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

The critical scores for Butte came from Kodye Kjersten and Raeder Grey.

Capital's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Butte, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.

As of now, neither Capital nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
