First Baptist strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Burton Adventist Academy Angels. Fans of the Saints have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Allison Munnerlyn made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Camila Rodriguez, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Kimberly Gutierrez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

First Baptist pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average this season. As for Burton Adventist Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: First Baptist beat the Angels by a score of 15-4 on Tuesday.
