It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rock Creek can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paola Panthers on Friday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Brooklyn Dye paced Rock Creek's offense, picking up eight kills. Dye got some help from Brynna Zoeller and her 23 assists.

Rock Creek's loss dropped their record down to 32-7. As for Paola, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season.
