Baseball Recap: Prestonwood Christian Gets the Win

Prestonwood Christian won against Kilgore last Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Prestonwood Christian Lions walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Kilgore Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-0 last Thursday.

The win made it two in a row for Prestonwood Christian and bumps their season record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Kilgore, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Prestonwood Christian Lions face off against John Paul II Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kilgore, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Carthage on the 4th.
