Basketball Recap: Grand County Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Grand County hadn't done well against North Sevier recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Grand County Red Devils came out on top against the North Sevier Wolves by a score of 44-33. The score was all tied up 22-22 at the break, but the Red Devils were the better team in the second half.

Ainsleigh Kasprick had an outrageously good game as she went 9 for 14 on her way to 22 points in addition to eight steals and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Bryant, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 12 points and eight rebounds.

Grand County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for North Sevier, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Grand County will square off against Duchesne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Sevier, they will challenge South Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
