Basketball Recap: Warren Warriors vs. Brennan Bears

Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 68-51 to the Brennan Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-49 back in January.

Despite the loss, Warren still got an impressive performance from Aniyah Shields, who posted 13 points and five steals. Talia Uluave was another key player, going 5 for 7 en route to 10 points.

Brennan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alayna Perez out in front who went 7 of 12 from beyond the arc on her way to 21 points. The dominant performance gave Perez a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Janea Walls, who went 5 for 8 en route to 15 points.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 23-11. As for Brennan, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-9.

Warren will venture away from home to take on Clark at 8:00 p.m. on February 11th. Brennan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
