Volleyball Recap: Cherokee Trail Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Cherokee Trail won the last time they faced Cherry Creek and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bruins. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Cherokee Trail had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Quinn Trusler paced Cherokee Trail's offense, picking up nine kills. Trusler got some help from Chase Cabuag and his 32 assists. Cabuag also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Hayden Parmelee, racking up three apiece.
