Basketball Recap: Baldwinsville Comes Up Short

Baldwinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 89-52 loss at the hands of the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars. While losing is never fun, the Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Northstars are ranked 17th).

Baldwinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwinsville will head out to square off against Auburn at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, they will take on Liverpool at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
