Basketball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

If Eastern was feeling good fresh off their 58-28 takedown of Manchester last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eastern Warriors took a 42-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Adams Green Devils on Thursday. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for North Adams, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Eastern and North Adams should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Eastern will challenge Peebles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday up 355 places (260 vs. 615). Meanwhile, North Adams (ranked 204th) will meet Lynchburg-Clay (ranked 539th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
