Football Recap: Burlingame Skates Past Carlmont with Ease + How To Watch

Burlingame never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Carlmont Scots 34-0. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Burlingame got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nick Armstrong out in front who threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes. Armstrong's passing game has become a key predictor of the Panthers' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. Nathaniel Ordonez was in the mix too, providing Burlingame with three TDs.

Burlingame didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Carlmont to a completion percentage of just 42.9%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Dylan Black and Mark O'Grady, who each logged two passes deflected. Burlingame has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.58 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.58 in their last three games.

Burlingame's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Ravi Krishnan with two.

Burlingame now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Carlmont, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
