Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rogers). They skirted past the East Valley Knights 58-56. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Knights back in January, they had to take a 32-31 defeat.

Rogers' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 2-16. As for East Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Coming up, Rogers will face off against Pullman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Valley, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when they and West Valley meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Valley is facing West Valley at the right time seeing as West Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
