While Cypress Creek put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Northbrook. The Cougars skirted past the Raiders 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-5 on Tuesday.

The result came thanks to Jacob Ross's shutout, as he gave up just a hit.

The victory made it two in a row for Cypress Creek and bumps their season record up to 6-20-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Northbrook, they dropped their record down to 0-21 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
