Baseball Recap: Harrells Christian Academy Find Success

Harrells Christian Academy posted their closest win since March 25, 2024 on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lakewood Leopards 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

The team relied heavily on Jesse Smith, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Peyton Gomez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run.

Harrells Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Lakewood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Coming up, Harrells Christian Academy will face off against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dark Horses will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight. Lakewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
