Baseball Recap: Abbeville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Abbeville Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 5-0 to the Lakeside School Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Abbeville Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaiden Buckhannon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Abbeville Christian Academy now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Lakeside School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 42-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lakeside School beat Abbeville Christian Academy by a score of 10-0 later that day.
