Basketball Recap: Sterling City Takes a Loss

Sterling City won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They lost 68-47 to the Ozona Lions. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-16.

Sterling City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Ozona, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Reagan County the next time they take the court. Ozona will head out to face Reagan County at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Sterling City will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on January 21st.
