West Ranch has gone 8-2 against Canyon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The West Ranch Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Canyon Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

West Ranch lost 70-45 to St. Francis on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Golden Knights are ranked 83rd).

Meanwhile, Canyon unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 65-57 to Saugus.

Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for West Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

West Ranch couldn't quite finish off Canyon when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 65-62. Can West Ranch avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
