Boiling Springs took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Waynesboro, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Boiling Springs had just enough and edged out Waynesboro 5-4. For the Bubblers, this counts as revenge for the 12-2 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Delaney Lawyer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Lawyer, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Kayla Fry also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
