Basketball Game Preview: Manatee Hurricanes vs. Venice Indians + Official Tickets

Manatee is 1-9 against Venice since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hurricanes will look to defend their home court against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Wednesday, Manatee came up short against Tampa Bay Tech and fell 66-57.

Meanwhile, Venice scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 87-62 to Riverview Sarasota. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Manatee now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Venice, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.
