Basketball Game Preview: Strasburg Indians vs. Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs

The Strasburg Indians will square off against the Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Strasburg has given up an average of 50.2 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Last Saturday, Strasburg earned a 76-66 win over University. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Strasburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brody Hopwood, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyce Bollers, who shot 44% from the field on his way to 19 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Strasburg was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They are 18-1 when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Addenbrooke Classical Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Golden View Classical Academy.

Strasburg's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Addenbrooke Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
