Soccer Recap: Ridgecroft Takes a Loss

Ridgecroft managed to keep up with Lawrence Academy until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rams came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. Ridgecroft were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lawrence Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Ridgecroft now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lawrence Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Ridgecroft will be playing at home against Crossroads Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ridgecroft's defense better be ready for this one: Crossroads Christian have averaged an impressive 6.2 goals per game this season. As for Lawrence Academy, they will head out to take on Pungo Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawrence Academy will be up against Pungo Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
