Volleyball Recap: River Valley Triumphs

River Valley won the last time they faced Kennedy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Parveen Takhar paced River Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Takhar got some help from Alexa Campos and her 15 assists. Valeria Correa controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

River Valley's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Kennedy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

River Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lincoln on the 27th. As for Kennedy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against McClatchy on the 30th.
