Volleyball Recap: Jackson Gets the Win

Jackson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Highland Hornets on Saturday. The Polar Bears haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Taylor Brownsword paced Jackson's offense, picking up nine kills. Brownsword got some help from Morgan Rosenberry and her 18 assists. Nya Hockman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Jackson has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Avon on the 16th. As for Highland, they will take on Brunswick at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
