Football Recap: TEACH Tech Charter Extends Winning Streak to Three

TEACH Tech Charter had won two straight games and Kyler Drake did his part to make it three on Friday. The Rams strolled past the Valley Oaks CES Vanguards with points to spare, taking the game 54-36 with plenty of help from Drake, who picked up 212 receiving yards and four scores, and also rushed for 87 yards on only nine carries. His longest reception was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

Trayvion Kendrick was another key player, rushing for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. Kendrick is also crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

TEACH Tech Charter's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Valley Oaks CES, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

TEACH Tech Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley Oaks CES, they will host South LA College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vanguards will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
