Softball Recap: Navarre Raiders vs. Fort Walton Beach Vikings
Navarre had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Fort Walton Beach on Thursday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 8-0 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.
Not much got past Kayden Riddle, who gave up just five hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Fort Walton Beach off the board. Riddle has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Karsyn Riddle was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadia Rivera, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.
