Baseball Recap: Malone Tigers vs. Paxton Bobcats
Malone lost against Paxton back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Malone Tigers fell 11-8 to the Paxton Bobcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jadrian Gilbert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole five bases. Another player making a difference was Ben Proctor, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Malone's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Paxton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
