Soccer Recap: South Stanly Takes a Loss

South Stanly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Union Academy Cardinals, falling 12-0. While losing is never fun, South Stanly can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 545th, while Union Academy are ranked 162nd).

South Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Union Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-1 record this season.

As of now, neither South Stanly nor Union Academy have any future games scheduled.
