Basketball Game Preview: Rosemead Panthers vs. Arroyo Knights

The Rosemead Panthers will take on the Arroyo Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rosemead will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Marshall, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Rosemead was the clear victor by a 47-24 margin over Marshall on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since December 26, 2024.

It was another big night for Rhys Anderson, who posted 19 points. His evening made it 18 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Preston Huynh was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Arroyo was able to grind out a solid victory over Mountain View on Monday, taking the game 55-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Rosemead now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Arroyo, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Rosemead came up short against Arroyo in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 52-47. Can Rosemead avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
