Softball Recap: Birmingham Gets the Win

Birmingham barely beat Hart the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Birmingham Patriots put the hurt on the Hart Hawks with a sharp 10-4 win on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Jazmine Olmos, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Camila Guillen, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Olmos wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Birmingham kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hart only managed ten hits.
