Basketball Recap: Bow Extends Winning Streak to Five

Bow hadn't done well against Pelham recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bow Falcons blew past the Pelham Pythons 48-24. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won five matches in a row.

Bow pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points over those games. As for Pelham, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Bow will square off against Pembroke at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pembroke knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Bow likes a good challenge. As for Pelham, they are taking a road trip to take on Coe-Brown Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coe-Brown Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Pelham surely won't give up without a fight.
