Soccer Recap: Mt. Baker Comes Up Short

Mt. Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Burlington-Edison Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mt. Baker of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.

Mt. Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Burlington-Edison, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Baker will welcome Lynden at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burlington-Edison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ferndale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
