Riverdale Ridge can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup last Thursday. They breezed by Mountain View on the road to the tune of 87-52. That 35 points margin sets a new team best for Riverdale Ridge this season.
Dylan Nieto was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with seven steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Marcus D mcfadden, who scored 12 points.
Roosevelt suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Severance, falling 65-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Roosevelt has scored all season.
Riverdale Ridge pushed their record up to 9-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Roosevelt, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Riverdale Ridge against Roosevelt in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 95-64 win. With Riverdale Ridge ahead 50-27 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
